Application Process 2011/2012
1. A non-refundable Assessment fee for all new students, of $50.00 CAD must be paid before the interview and child assessment.
2. Following the interview and child assessment, the parents will be notified about their child's acceptance into the program as soon as possible.
3. Arrangements will be made for the parents to finalize the registration process with completion of all registration forms, student file documents (proof of citizenship, documents from past school, etc.), financial agreements and payment of tuition, school fees and registration fee.
4. When all forms and financial arrangements are completed, the teacher will welcome the child into the class.
General Information
In the case of re-enrollment by March 1 2011, there will be a $100 discount of the Administrative fee. Also if all fees are paid in full prior to August 1st, there will be a 2.5% discount to the annual tuition fee. Should this be a new enrollment, the discount will apply if fees are paid in full prior to September 1st. The 2.5% discount applies only to payments in full by cash or certified cheque.
All fees will be reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees and may change in the following school year.
In the case of withdrawal, School Fees are non-refundable. Additional fees may arise through the school year for special field trips, swimming, skiing, skating, etc.
All tuition fees are based on a yearly agreement, but can be divided into 10 months (July 2011 to April 2012) for those families who choose to pay the yearly tuition month by month. No discounts or reductions will be given for school holidays, Pro-D days or extended absenteeism (including family holidays) throughout the school year. If fees are paid monthly, 2 months’ fees must be paid by July 1st. The last payment is made March 1st.
As a requirement of the Ministry of Education, all families must re-register each year.
