After working as a nurse Monika moved in 1981 with her husband and their one year old daughter from Germany to her husband’s hometown of West Kelowna, BC. Shortly thereafter, she was introduced to Waldorf Education. After her daughter entered the Waldorf- Grade-school, Monika was asked to be the German teacher. In 2007 she became the Handwork teacher. All of her 4 children graduated from the KWS. Waldorf Education, Anthroposophy, Early Childhood Education and Handwork are important to her.
